The only complex character was the main character, Tori. The story line grabbed you from the very beginning to end, making for an easy and enjoyable read. You could easily feel the emotions that the main character was feeling, putting yourself in her place, feeling her ups and downs and rooting for her to succeed. I didn't want the book to end, but I also looked forward to reading it and found every opportunity to do so. This was my first read (my son loaned me his). I now have my own . I'm sold on and sold on this author-- great style of writing -- and am looking forward to her next title to download on my own .
I enjoyed this book, it pulled me right in. Worth the read.
I would recommend this as a casual, easy read to even teen girls as well as older women who just want a story with a nice ending.
It was well written
Good read with a nice flow. While you can speculate on what will happen, the author does a great job of keeping you in suspense and reading
An excellent first novel by a newly published writer. Even accounting for the bias of being related to the author, I enjoyed this novel immensely; reading over the course of just a few evenings. I found a good mix of humor and touching moments, a couple of which mirrored my own feelings about recently losing my own father.
